The Chittagong Hill Tracts is a special geographical region inhabited by the Indigenous Community People, situated in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. The eleven Indigenous community people who speak ten different own languages are depriving of various development issues. Lack of communication, capital formation, water, sanitation provision, community capacity, local institution building, infrastructures, technical training, education, health care, and various issues are the major problems of indigenous people.
Indigenous community people have been deprived of participation in the mainstreaming from various development processes and have been kept out of the development planning and implementation of Bangladesh.
